EEI is a K-12 replacement curriculum that offers a way to teach certain Science and History/Social Science standards to mastery in an environmental context. This fun, hands-on training will introduce teachers to this California-centric curriculum through unit exploration and connection to local resources. The first of its kind in the nation, the California EEI Curriculum is an environment-based curriculum that is formally approved by the State Board of Education for use in classrooms statewide and is aligned with Common Core and NGSS. Learn more about the EEI Curriculum at www.californiaeei.org.
This is a FREE workshop. Additionally, participants will be able to choose TWO free printed units (with a a full set of student materials) to begin using in their classrooms.
